Storyteller Community
Through the collective, people become effective, visual storytellers of their family stories. The Oklahoma Freedmen Collective is the authoritative clearinghouse of educators dedicated to genealogy, cultural exploration, and the recounting of Freedmen of the Five Tribes history. We are Freedmen of the Five Tribes (Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Muscogee (Creek) and Seminole) and friends of freedmen.

We educate Five Tribes Freedmen about methods of learning their remarkable history.
We empower freedmen to use technology to tell their stories.
We create avenues of communication among freedmen groups, communities, organizations.
